Will G. Soul is an R&B and Soul artist who was born in South Carolina. In his early years he made a move to New York City, where he honed his craft and developed love for music and art. He pursued music studies in Connecticut and took private lessons to help learn bass. His dedication led him to tour with the gospel group The Revelations, traveling through the South and gaining performance experience. Now, for more than fifteen years, he has called Europe his home, residing in Wiesbaden, Germany, near Frankfurt. Drawing inspiration from some of the most influential voices in R&B and Soul, Will G. Soul’s music reflects the essence of Calvin Richardson, The Temptations, Next, R. Kelly, Usher, and Gerald Levert. His style has a rich blend of classic soulfulness and contemporary R&B. His latest project, the album "Beautiful & Twisted," shows his artistic depth.
The album is released in two parts, with "Beautiful" already out and "Twisted," featuring another 30 songs, set for release by summer. His latest single, "High to the Sky," is an expression of emotional reflection. The inspiration for "High to the Sky" came from an Urban Influencer song that resonated deeply with him. After hearing a track from a female artist on the Urban Influencer, he was immediately struck with a new idea. The song became an answer, a conversation in melody, posing the question, "Baby tell me what will make it right for you?" It explains the complexities of relationships and the longing for clarity and resolution. For Will G. Soul, songwriting is an organic and immersive process. When inspiration strikes, he envisions the entire song—the flow, tempo, beat, and lyrics instantly. The song encourages partners to reflect on what can be done to mend and enhance their connection, urging them to consider what changes could lead to a better understanding.
Currently, Will G. Soul is keeping busy with an impressive schedule of live performances. This month alone, he has eight live shows lined up, showcasing his talent to audiences across different venues. One of his most anticipated performances is set for March 27th in the breathtaking Dolomiti Mountains of Northern Italy. He will be performing at a VIP event in the ballroom of a five-star hotel near Bozen, marking his second visit to the region this month.
