Wayna not falling for the oke doke on Good on Paper

The dating game is caveat emptor. For those not versed in Latin (or who don't watch "The Brady Bunch), that transates to buyer beware. You see someone who piques your interest and you hope that persoon is the best version of what a man (or woman) should be. Usually, they fall far short, and the only thing you can hope for is that you learn the truth before you get in too deep.
Wayna's new jam that fuses pop, afrobeat, R&B and hip-hop puts an insightful and funny spin on this all too real struggle is her new single "Good On Paper." The tune and a hilarous accompanying video where Wayna shows her acting chops is out now. "Good On Paper" is the lead track from her upcoming project, "Housewives of Zamuda," which is due to drap next year. The album features tracks that detail range of emotions and situations that African housewives experience, from hiarious to serious, often in the twinkling of the eye.
"Good On Paper" is about the travails of the wooing and dating phase and how the path to releationship hell is paved with a combination of deception and wishful thinking.
The colorful and fast paced video was directed by Maori Karlmael and shot in Philadelphia. The video serves as an homage to the fun and danceable R&B and hip-hop of the late 1980s and early 90s and pays homage to videos from the era like "Parents Just Don't Understand."
"Good On Paper" showcases Wayna's funny side. But don't get it twisted, she's a serious artist and activist who is concerned about the state of the world. That comes through in her advocacy for World Music to be included in the Best Song for Social Change category at the upcomoing Grammy Awards. Check out "Good On Paper" here.
