Snoh Aalegra Announces "Feels" Album Release Date, Drops "Nothing Burns Like The Cold" Video ft. Vince Staples

After years of dropping smooth heat that sways the internet, Swedish-Persian beauty Snoh Aalegra has announced the release of her full-length debut, FEELS out October 20th on ARTium Recordings.
Aalegra says about the album, “I’m super excited to finally share FEELS with the world. I’ve worked with incredible producers, musicians, and artists. Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, Logic, and the amazing Swedish rapper Timbuktu. What I love about them all is their gift; they are all such incredible lyrical masterminds with unique flows. This, just like my previous project, still has a cinematic feel to it. It also explores more modern sonics. It’s old school meets contemporary Soul/R&B in my own way. Therefore, the album title FEELS was perfect for it. It’s an emotional rollercoaster with beautiful composition.”
A highlight among the new tracks is “Sometimes” featuring previous collaborator and longtime friend Logic. It is a song about controlling your destiny even though life pulls you in different directions. She also joins upwith Chicago rapper Vic Mensa on “You Keep Me Waiting”andfellow Swede Timbuktu on “Like I Used To.” She flies solo on “You Got Me” an upbeat song destined for radio.
The album includes the previously released single “Nothing Burns Like The Cold” featuring labelmate Vince Staples and produced by Christian Rich. It is a sensuous track reminiscent of a James Bond theme. Peep the teaser video below:
The album’s title track, “Feels,” is a vintage soul throwback produced by No I.D. The ballad “Time” was recently sampled on Drake’s “Do Not Disturb” from his album More Life.
Aalegra is the protégé of luminary hip-hop producer No I.D., who’s produced hit singles for the likes of Kanye, Common and Jay Z. Aalegra captured the imagination of icon and legend Prince who mentored her for 2 years before his untimely passing in 2016. Her talent has also allowed her to collaborate with music's most influential voices and producers such as Common, John Mayer, RZA, Killer Mike, and more.
