Reyy Zore Releases new single “Pretty Feet”

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Reyy Zore lived there until he was seven before moving with his family to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he currently resides. Despite spending many years in the South, he still considers himself a New Yorker at heart. Brooklyn has never left him, and recently, he has been contemplating a return to his hometown. Whether or not he makes the move, Brooklyn will always be a part of him. Reyy Zore's influences are deeply rooted in musical history, spanning multiple generations and genres. He grew up listening to Motown legends like The Temptations and Smokey Robinson, even though their prime era was before his time. As he developed his own sound, he was drawn to artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Gerald Levert, Eddie Levert, and Maxwell. However, his inspirations aren’t limited to R&B—he also admires rock bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana. Music moves him in all its forms, and his eclectic influences shape the diverse sound he creates today.
Reyy Zore's stage name was given to him by someone he met in a place where no one wants to be—prison. Like many Black men, Reyy Zore had a troubled past, serving a lengthy prison sentence in his youth. His situation seemed bleak, but he refused to give up. Determined to regain his freedom, he searched for ways to fight his case, knowing that doing so would require financial resources he didn't have.
Realizing his talent for songwriting, Reyy Zore decided to pursue music while incarcerated, aiming to get his work recognized in the industry as a means to generate the funds needed for his legal battle. His efforts did not go unnoticed. One of his fellow inmates, impressed by his sharp strategic thinking, remarked, "Man, what you're doing is pretty sharp. You need a name that means sharp—like a razor. Matter of fact, Ray Zore! That’s what you should call yourself." Though he laughed at first, the name stuck. Over time, he embraced it, modifying it to Reyy Zore.
Changes in the law led to his release. Though he was freed before he could accomplish his initial goal, he remained in touch with industry contacts he had established while incarcerated. Reyy Zore primarily writes and performs R&B but is not confined to a single genre. His music also extends to pop and even alternative rock, showcasing his ability to experiment with different sounds. He has also written a country song, which he may release in the future. For now, his music spans R&B, pop, alternative rock, and country, proving that his creativity knows no bounds.
Reyy Zore’s latest single is titled "Pretty Feet," the first release from his upcoming album, The Reyy Zore Experience. The song is unique in its concept, as he believes it’s time for a track that acknowledges and celebrates women’s pretty feet. This is the song to vibe to !
