Raheem DeVaughn Presents Newbie Maycee, Singer Drops New EP "Indecisive"

Initially grabbing the attention of superstar R&B artist Raheem Devaughn, Maycee is poised to become one of the biggest names in the industry with her relentless work ethic. After getting turned down at American Idol auditions, Maycee was ready to walk away, but her determination pulled her back and helped elevate her to a level she never say coming.

Indecisive is the fruit of that trust and process. Despite the title, the project presents an artist who is very decidedly undefined. Ranging from the boastful “I Got,” to the honest “Faded” featuring Chaz French — an ode to a toxic relationship that only seems to work under the influence — to the sonically rich and emotionally raw “Take Me Back,” the project serves not only as an introduction to Maycee, but also to a wave she and her mentor have dub the Ambiguous Art Movement - an approach to music that promises to marry the influence of the classics with the freedom of the millennial generation.
