Dr. Gabe, known for his soothing R&B/Soul melodies with a touch of Pop, has been making waves in the music industry. His stage name, Dr. Gabe, may raise a few eyebrows, but it wasn't a name he chose for himself. Warner Bros. bestowed it upon him during his time as an On-Air doctor for the TV show EXTRA, in a segment called Lifechangers. His original choice was Dr. Gabriel Crenshaw because "Gabriel" means Messenger, and Dr. Gabe sings songs with a message. It's worth noting that he's not just a man who plays a doctor on TV; he's the real deal, holding credentials as a Clinical/Forensic/Neuro-Psychologist. Born and raised in a Cincinnati suburb in Ohio, Dr. Gabe hails from a region steeped in musical history. Ohio has produced music royalty like John Legend, The Isley Brothers, James Ingram, Nancy Wilson, Bootsy Collins, and even Anita Baker. It's also home to the 90's boy band 98 Degrees. Proudly embracing his Buckeye heritage, Dr. Gabe extols the virtues of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals while championing Skyline Chili as a universal menu must-have. He also proudly declares his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, as the Ivy League of the Midwest.

Dr. Gabe's musical heart beats to the rhythm of R&B/Soul. Dr. Gabe's musical journey has been influenced by a diverse array of artists. Growing up in a Pentecostal household where only Gospel music was allowed, he found solace in Contemporary Gospel icon Andrae' Crouch, whom he likens to their own Michael Jackson. Later in life, he had the incredible opportunity to visit Andrae' Crouch's home in Los Angeles. Other major influences include legends like Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, James Ingram, and Donny Hathaway. In an unexpected twist, R&B singer Keyshia Cole found her way into his list after he appeared on her show, prompting him to delve into her songwriting prowess. He also has high praise for Bruno Mars and Philip Lawrence.

Dr. Gabe's latest single, "Part of Yours," showcases his songwriting prowess and features the remarkable voices of indie artists Castella and Charlotte Pope. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Darryl Swann, along with Jeff Canady, and Dr. Gabe himself playing the keys, the song takes listeners on a journey of self-discovery. It's a heartfelt declaration of a man realizing that his world is incomplete without the love of his life. The chorus resounds, "My world will never offer more, so, baby how can I be Part of Yours."Dr. Gabe's most recent video, "Find My Father," is a visual journey that combines still shots and video clips. It features scenes with the boys' group he mentored, glimpses from his TV appearances on shows like "Growing Up Hip Hop," CNN/HLN, and Extra, as well as scenes from his time as a professor at the USC campus. The video concept revolves around Dr. Gabe becoming the father figure he longed for, so others wouldn't have to go without.

Dr. Gabe's music is a blend of heartfelt melodies, soulful harmonies, and meaningful messages. With influences spanning gospel to R&B, he brings a unique and soulful sound to the music scene. His latest single "Part of Yours" and the video "Find My Father" are testaments to his talent and dedication to both his music and his community.
