Mooski drops remix, video of his hit Track Star
Artist Mooski has been through a lot and he has seen a lot. Growing up in a small Alabama town, Mooski got his first exposure to music in the same way as many other artists - the church. Mooski along with his mother and sisters were a part of the praise and worship team at their church in the small town of Opp.
Soon, Mooski had to put any dreams of singing on hold because his parents' health issues forced him to start working at 15. By 18, he was in the Marine Corps. It was in boot camp that Mooski learned that his dad passed away. His mother's health also continued to decline. Still, Mooski flourished in the Marines, becoming a sergent before his four year stint in the Corp ended.
Mooski focused on his first love of music after his discharge, and he has definitely been making moves. He brings a level of maturity and focus to his work because of all he's been through, and that is heard in his breakthrough track - the banger "Track Star."
"Track Star" shows that Mooski is a great musical storyteller who is unafraid to display his vulnerablity. The song tells the story of him linking up with a woman who has commitment issues and the confusion that it causes in his life. "Track Star" has achieved Gold Record status and global streams of the single have surpassed 150 million.
The artist celebrates his success with a remix of "Track Star" that features Chris Brown, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Yung Bleu. Check it out here.
