Corey “CL" Llewellyn is a seasoned music magnate with more than 25 years experience as a leader in promotion and marketing within the music industry.
Though achieving success within all of these mediums, it is Digiwaxx Media that has been CL's greatest glory. Founded in 1998, Digiwaxx is a music marketing agency specializing in DJ Culture, Music Innovation and New Urban Culture.
Corey's love for music and entrepreneurial creativity have generated some of today's most innovative business creations that have worked to preserve and honor hip-hop's core elements and incorporate today's ever evolving technology into the fold. Born to Jamaican parents in Greenburg, NY, CL grew up with a
strong family foundation that has provided him with a healthy business
sense and the confidence to become a trailblazer.
At the age of 34, CL's extensive resume boasts directorial positions at numerous major recording labels and reveals a go-getter attitude that propelled him
into the music business at the young age of 17. His impressive
accomplishments include National Director of Rap Promotion (Elektra
Music Group), Director of A&R (Sony/Crave Records), VP of Promotions
(Cornerstone), Associate Editor (Fader Magazine), and Co-Founder of
Cornerstone's 1200 Squad, Cornerstone Mixtapes, and Fader Magazine.
Additionally CL is co-owner of American King, the independent
recording label responsible for the success of artists including MIMS,
whose hit single, “This Is Why I’m Hot” was the first rap song to sell
over one million ringtones.

an independent marketing and promotions agency specializing in music,
lifestyle and the new urban culture. Initially formed as a digital music distribution company offering exclusive digital content in the form of fixed streaming audio and video media, Digiwaxx has branched out to become an online and offline marketing and promotions company with a client roster to include Microsoft, Monster Cable, PUMA, ADIDAS and more.
CL's savvy marketing skills and industry know-how have allowed him to
effectively bridge the digital divide that has long existed within the
urban music world. He has grown the Digiwaxx brand into a weekly DJ call that has recently expanded into a podcast, titled "New Music Wednesdays", and an online radio station.
