James Blake Covers Don McLean’s "Vincent"

As a gift to fans for Christmas, James Blake shared a video of himself covering Don McLean’s “Vincent,” a tribute to Vincent van Gogh.

The clip was filmed at Conway Studios in L.A. and sees Blake emotively performing the song at a lone piano. 

The trend for many artists seems to be paying biographical tributes to cultural figures (i.e. Sufjan Stevens’ “Tonya Harding” and Eminem’s “Robert Mueller").
