Ghanian Nigerian Afrobeats OG Emmy drops new EP

Ghanian/Nigerian afrobeats newcomer OG Emmy captures the laid back vibe of late summer on this new EP Sipping Remy. His smooth flow caught the attention of producers like Stev Jazz. They team up to produce a five track EP that proves OG Emmy is ready to take his place at the top of the afrobeats game.

Sipping Remy is highlighted by the single "Kit Kat." The track is a fuses percussive funk with hip-hop and finds OG Emmy toasting the beauty of black women. He uses his flow to extol the beauty, style and sensuality of his melalinated sisters. He lets them know that they possess all that he needs.

"Remy Money" find OG Emmy collaborating with some of his friends on a track that finds them enjoying the fruits of their hard work while OG Emmy's adopts a vocal flow that floats above the percussive shuffle beat of the track "Trouble" where he talks about how won't be pulled down the path that leads to problems.

Now 21, OG Emmy has been writing and producing music since was 14. At 16, he created the popular Nigerian teen talent concert series ‘XPOSURE’. In the past two years, OG Emmy has been garnering support across Nigerian and Ghanaian radio tastemakers such as COOL FM, Rainbow FM, Star FM and Joy FM, among others.
