Florida hip-hop artist and producer Brandon Kai takes on all comers with new banger On Me

Brandon Kai spent much of last year on lockdown. However, this Florida emcee with the rapid fire flow and a flair for creative rhymes wasn't just practicing social distancing in light of the pandemic. In many respects Kai's absence from the public scene was planned.

Kai spent much of the last 16 months on what he calls a 'creative hiatus' where the artist went into the woodshed and worked on refining his sound. He's emerged from the laboratory with a summer ready slammer titled "On Me." The banger is the lead release from his highly anticipated sophomore EP.

"On Me" finds Kai using his trademark flow to acknowledge the fact that he's become the center of attention. Some, like the ladies, love him. And then there are the haters. But Kai is cool with all of it on a track that finds him telling the world to bring it on!

Kai raps with the confidence of a man who has endured a challenging year by not only overcoming but emerging even stronger, more focused and mature. Or as he puts it: "The past year helped me grow as an artist in ways that would not happen otherwise. The experience, lessons and maturation are on full display in the music I’m creating now, with ‘On Me’ being one of the first”.
