Grammy-winning songwriter and R&B artist Eric Bellinger and Nieman Johnson debut "Blessed," the second song available from Optimal Music, a collaborative project releasing via YFS Music/Empire Records on April 24. On the smooth and soulful J. Gramm produced track, Eric Bellinger joins Wale, RJ and Joe Moses to sing and rap about their affection for women and how they feel blessed that the love is reciprocated right back.
 
"With everything that's going on we want people to know that they are still blessed to have life and family and friends that love them. Our job is to continue to make music that inspires and provides an escape from this difficult time that everyone is experiencing. We will overcome this moment together," says Nieman Johnson.
 
"Blessed" follows the new album's sensual lead single "Say Less" that's gained over 3 Million combined streams since its release earlier this month. Both songs are featured on Optimal Music, a joint project curated by Eric Bellinger's longtime friend and YFS Music business partner Nieman Johnson who handpicked an organized the album's production, songwriters, artwork and guest features that include Young Thug, Jeremih, Wale, RJ, Joe Moses and Nieman Johnson himself.


During this time while people are self-quarantined, Eric Bellinger continues to stay in touch with his fans in new ways via social media. Last weekend, he live streamed the process of recording a new song via YouTube while he looked to viewers to give their input on selecting the beat and suggesting song lyrics. This week he went on IG Live alongside fellow songwriter and producer Chrishan to record new music and have viewers experience the process with them. He's also currently running a contest for producers to submit their beats and win a chance for Eric to record over one of their tracks that could appear on a new album. Previous campaigns on Instagram include winning a guest verse from him and having the chance to open at one of his shows.
