Black Ty's Back: Tyrese Prepping a Rap Album Inspired By Tupac, Jay Z and Dr. Dre
After getting on everyone's nerves via social media (including the nerves his co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson regarding filming his own spin-off movie a part from The Fast and Furious franchise), Tyrese is back in the social media headlines regarding music.
Apparenlty, the singer/actor still has dreams of being a rapper (via his rap moniker "Black Ty") and is preparing a rap album inspired by three rap heavyweights Jay Z, Dr. Dre, and Tupac.
Tyrese announced the news on his Instagram, claiming the double album titled Identity Theft "will change hip-hop."
That's quite a tall order! See below:
Later, Tyrese teased a trap track he captioned features rapper Future and is an "early reference" with a ghostwriter on the draft.
To be clear, in another post, Tyrese explained just how Jay, Pac and Dre inspsired the LP, saying it was inspired by "Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and Sonically Dre’s Ears." If you're still uncertain about the legitimacy of this news, the project has earned a cosign by radio personality and hip-hop insider Ed Lover:
Time shall tell if Black Ty brings the heat!
