3X GRAMMY® NOMINEE DOECHII’S TINY DESK CONCERT AIRS TODAY ON NPR
On the heels of her sold-out Alligator Bites Never Heal - The Tour, which brought the three-time GRAMMY® Award nominee to the U.S., Europe and the UK, DOECHII pays a visit to NPR Music for a Tiny Desk Concert, which premieres on December 6, 2024.
Earlier this week, DOECHII appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” For the occasion, she created and choreographed a powerful medley of “DENIAL IS A RIVER” and “BOILED PEANUTS,” two tracks from her new mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal (Top Dawg Entertainment / Capitol Records.
DOECHII will receive the Hip-Hop Disrupter award at Variety’s eighth annual Hitmakers celebration on December 7, 2024. She’ll perform at the 11th annual TDE Holiday concert and toy drive on December 12. The event has become a holiday tradition for Nickerson Gardens residents and members of surrounding Los Angeles communities.
Alligator Bites Never Heal received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album while the single “NISSAN ALTIMA” received a nod for Best Rap Performance and Doechii was nominated for Best New Artist. The mixtape placed in the top 10 of Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of 2024 list. Critics at NPR, Paste, Consequence of Sound, Stereogum and UPROXX also hailed Alligator Bites Never Heal as one of the year’s best albums.
